Elizabeth Martin

Elizabeth Martin is a singer song-writer from southern California who began her musical journey as a classical pianist. At a young age, she broke away from performance art to create her own sound and style in song writing. Elizabeth’s main goal was to share her observations through poetry and music, drawing inspiration from Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan. She studied classical piano and music theory at Orange County School of the Arts before attending UCLA for biology and philosophy. At UCLA she met and collaborated with Uddhav Mehra to create music.

Elizabeth wrote “Skipping Stones” after falling out of touch with a close friend. She and Uddhav also wrote "Howl" which is a song about enjoying an ex-lover's suffering. Elizabeth continues to play and write music in Los Angeles.
